At the SPS IPC Drives 2013 trade fair in Nuremberg, the trade journal "elektrotechnik" will be honoring the best automation apps for the second time. Interested parties can still apply until September 30, 2013.
The jury awards the prize in three categories: technology apps, catalog apps and corporate apps. Any company can apply - even with more than one submission. The following applies: The respective app must be based on either the "Android" or "iOS" operating system. Very important: The apps must be available for download in the app store on Google play or in the Apple App Store - regardless of whether they are free or fee-based.
The jury evaluates according to three criteria: Originality of the idea behind the app, usability for the user as well as utility value in the technology category and information content in the catalog and corporate categories. The winner is determined from the online voting on elektrotechnik.de as well as from the user ratings in the respective app store and the judgment of the expert jury. The winner is the app with the best overall results from the three equally weighted partial results.
