Excellent "Enterprise Mobility"

Premiere: Happy winners and innovative solutions at the first Enterprise Mobility Awards ceremony

On 18 October, the time had come: At the premiere of the Enterprise Mobility Summit 2013, the Enterprise Mobility Award was presented for the first time in the three categories "Workforce Mobility", "Business Process Mobilization", "Customer Experience / Customer Recruitment" and the special prize "Innovation Award".

The jury, consisting of Peter Burghardt (TechConsult), Klaus Dudda (Medienhaus Verlag), Markus Reimer (anfema GmbH), Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar (Chair of Computer Science, TU Munich) and Werner Nieberle (Vogel IT-Medien GmbH), selected the winners from the numerous top-class applicants. The criteria were the novelty of the idea, the implementation and the market opportunities of the offers.

There were beaming faces at app@work, which was one step ahead of its competitors Höft & Wessel, NEO Mobile Suite, SystAG and T-Systems in the "Workforce Mobility" category with its Sandman.MD app. The award for "Business Process Mobilization" went to Deutsche Bahn's "TIM" project. The decision was extremely close - ConSys, IDeXs, MHP and Telcat had also submitted pioneering solutions. In the "Customer Experience / Customer Recruitment" category, Interboden was awarded the Animus project, beating n-tv, NuBON, Seven Principles and T-Systems by a hair's breadth. Cisco was also delighted to receive the first "Innovation Award" for the Connected Mobile Experience. Competitors AirWatch, Avaya, Cortado and ESTOS also scored top marks.

The winners were recognized in three categories:
Workforce Mobility: app@work, App Sandman.MD
Business Process Mobilization: Deutsche Bahn, project "TIM"
Customer Experience / Customer Recruitment: Interboden, Project Animus

Special prize "Innovation Award": Cisco, Connected Mobile Experience
