The typhoon victims in the Philippines are begging the world for help. "We are moved by the images and will help," promises Stefan Rühling, CEO of Vogel Business Media: "We know the region, because Vogel has been active in Asia for many decades, including 17 years with MM MaschinenMarkt in several Asian countries. With its international network, the industry title is an excellent platform for organizing help quickly."
How is the campaign organized?
Together with the "Deutschland hilft" campaign, MM MaschinenMarkt is calling on German industrial companies to make donations for the victims of the typhoon disaster. Anyone who donates at least EUR 500 by the end of November 2013 will have their company logo prominently displayed in print and online on MM MaschinenMarkt, MM Logistik, DeviceMed and Blechnet, giving them full visibility in the industry. The amount will be collected by the MM team and forwarded to the "Deutschland hilft" campaign - without any deductions, of course. The aid campaign will be accompanied by specialist publications from Vogel Business Media. "We hope that as many of our industry partners as possible will support this campaign and that we can alleviate the suffering with the donations," hope Frank Jablonski, Editor-in-Chief of MM MaschinenMarkt, and Hans-Jürgen Kuntze, Group Publisher MM MaschinenMarkt.
