Automechanika Frankfurt, the leading trade fair for the automotive industry, is cooperating with the trade journal "kfz-betrieb" as part of the Würzburg Bodywork and Damage Days. The trade fair is thus the official partner of the specialist congress for body repair & damage management, which will take place for the first time with an expanded concept on April 4 and 5, 2014 at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg. In return, the event's traditional expert meeting will be held for the first time on September 16, 2014 as part of Automechanika in Frankfurt am Main.
Over 400 participants are expected to attend the Würzburg Bodywork and Damage Days this year. 40 exhibitors will present themselves at the accompanying trade exhibition. At the Claims Day on April 4, 2014, experts, lawyers, insurance companies and body and paint stores will give presentations on the legal basis and its impact on industry partners based on key technical topics. The Bodywork and Paint Day on April 5, 2014 is an open forum for all workshops that offer bodywork and paint repairs.

Automechanika Frankfurt, the leading international trade fair for the automotive industry, offers trade visitors a unique range of products in the fields of automotive parts, workshop and filling station equipment, IT and management, vehicle washing, accessories and tuning. Last year's event attracted 4,597 exhibitors from 74 countries and around 147,715 visitors from 176 countries (66,947 from Germany, 80,768 from abroad). This year, the trade fair is further expanding the topic of further training in the body and paint sector. Visitors to Automechanika who already work in an automotive profession can register in advance for a total of eleven workshops. In terms of content, the focus will be on current areas of the accident repair process such as computerized damage calculation, exterior and dent removal, straightening bench work, joining methods, painting, body repair on a BMW i3 and electrics/electronics and chassis diagnostics. On Friday and Saturday, some of the exhibitors at Automechanika will be offering exciting activities for the workshop audience under the motto "Automechanika Workshop Days", a campaign organized by VREI e.V. with its member companies.
