In which federal state are companies particularly generous and in which sectors do they pay the most? Answers to these and many other questions can be found in the 40-page "Electronics & Electrical Engineering Salary Report 2014", which was conducted by the specialist medium "Elektronikpraxis" together with the career portal "semica.de" and will be published on May 15, 2014.
For the third "Electronics & Electrical Engineering Salary Report", data was collected online from 4110 specialists and managers from the electronics industry. In addition to remuneration for the areas of research & development, manufacturing & production, quality & text, sales & marketing, application and management, the report also includes current figures on job satisfaction, for example. The salary report also provides information on the salary structure in Germany, the top 5 sectors and tips on job effectiveness.
Key findings of the Electronics & Electrical Engineering Salary Report 2014:
- The average gross annual salary in electronics & electrical engineering across all sectors is €63,091 (excluding variable components) or €70,231 (including variable components).
- The highest salaries are paid in Bavaria with an average of € 66,628 (without variable components).
- Job satisfaction in the sector is high: 67% of those surveyed would recommend their employer to others.
