Würzburg has an answer to (almost) everything. From Bockshorn to CaseTrain, from Lusamgärtlein to Fraunhofer Institute to Nowitzki, from Kiliani to Residenz and to world market leader companies - you can explore the heart of Main-Franconia with an entertaining and interesting quiz that is completely mobile and digital. This app has been available to download for IOS since 2012 and has already been downloaded over 350 times in the first two months. The Android version followed in March and since yesterday the quiz is now also available for Windows Phone.
In 2012, Würzburg AG presented the city with a "Würzburg Quiz". This new free app offers interesting and interesting facts about Würzburg as a business, science and culture location. The total of 106 questions are randomly compiled into a quiz with 15 questions. A pleasant, easy-to-use menu with picture illustrations increases the fun factor. All Würzburg citizens and institutions can download this app for free.
The app is based on the previous quiz card game that Würzburg AG published a few years ago. As a media partner, the specialist media company Vogel Business Media prepared the database free of charge, updated and adapted the software and the app can now also be made available for Windows Phone and Android users. "We wanted a contemporary and attractive presentation of this really interesting content. So we were very happy to create this app," says Dr. Gunther Schunk, Head of Communications at Vogel Business Media and member of the Supervisory Board of Würzburg AG, explaining Vogel's involvement. The layout was created as part of a trainee project and was implemented by Vanessa Hettrich and Carolin Schäfer.
