Just in time for the International Exhibition for Metalworking (AMB), which will take place in Stuttgart from September 16 to 20, 2014, the "MM-Extra", a special trade fair issue of "MM MaschinenMarkt", will be published for the first time on July 21, 2014. The trade medium will also present the "MM Award" innovation prize and recognize the most innovative exhibits at AMB.
For AMB, the special edition "MM-Extras" takes up the most important topics of the trade fair: Some of the topics include how cutting speed can be increased with internally cooled tools, how the balancing act between technical progress and demographic change can be achieved and how complex customer requirements can be mastered without the need for reworking.
"AMB is already fully booked, which is not only a good sign for the variety of topics at the event, but also an indication that the metalworking industry is booming," comments Frank Jablonski, Editor-in-Chief of "MM MaschinenMarkt".
Visitors to AMB and users of "MM MaschinenMarkt" can also look forward to the awards for the most important innovations: Once again this year, MM MaschinenMarkt will be presenting the "MM Award" innovation prize at AMB, recognizing the most innovative exhibits relating to metalworking. Last-minute entrants (closing date for entries is August 12, 2014) can find the competition criteria and application documents at www.maschinenmarkt.de/award
