The "Energy Excellence Forum + accompanying trade exhibition" is a cross-industry innovation platform for greater energy and raw material efficiency in the process industries and will take place for the first time on September 23 and 24, 2014 in Würzburg. The "Process" media brand is organizing a knowledge and communication platform for specialists and managers from the energy-intensive industries. The event is aimed in particular at the following sectors: Chemical/Pharmaceutical, Oil/Gas, Food/Beverage, Metal/Steel, Paper, Cement. On the first day of the event, Prof. Liback (GUT Certifizierungsgesellschaft für Managementsysteme mbH) will speak on the current topic of "ISO 50001 - experiences and tips from a success story".



The event will focus on processes, systems and components that help to optimize plant operation in terms of energy efficiency and increased yield. The best-in-class examples in the cross-industry presentations and the innovative process engineering solutions will provide guidance. In addition, application and industry reports on successfully implemented efficiency strategies and concepts as well as approaches to implementing energy-efficient technologies will be presented. Technical innovations and solutions will be presented at the accompanying "Energy Solutions Area" trade exhibition.



At the "Energy Excellence Forum", industry leaders such as BASF, Bayer MaterialScience and Clariant will show how the process and supply industry can remain competitive.
