At the sps ipc drives 2014 trade fair in Nuremberg, the trade journal "elektrotechnik" will be honoring the best automation apps for the third time. For the first time this year, the prize will be awarded in four categories: Corporate, Catalog, Engineering and Production. From the submissions - participation has almost tripled compared to the start - 12 apps have made it to the final round. Readers and interested parties can still vote for their favorite until November 3, 2014 and win a Kindle Paperwhite.
The jury evaluated the apps according to usability, security, relevance and utility value as well as the originality of the app and created a shortlist. The winner is determined from the online voting on elektrotechnik.de, the user ratings in the respective store and the judgment of the expert jury. The apps with the best overall results from the three equally weighted partial results will emerge as the winners of the four categories.
