The winner of the German Workshop Award 2014 is Simon Nowotni. With his nine-strong service team, the entrepreneur from Dettingen an der Erms took first place in the industry competition. The trade journal "kfz-betrieb" and the Original Marken Partner (Bosal, GKN/Spidan, Mahle, Luk, INA, FAG, Reinz and TMD Friction/Textar) selected the ten best independent garages in Germany for the fourth time.



The award ceremony was a highlight of the Independent Workshops and Service Companies symposium, which took place on October 25, 2014 at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg. "The applicant quality of the top companies reached a very high level in 2014," commented "kfz-betrieb" editor-in-chief Wolfgang Michel: "In addition, the range of products and services offered by the independent garages this year is extremely broad."



Jury visited the independent workshops on site



The jury for the German Workshop Award is made up of representatives from the "kfz-betrieb" editorial team and Original Marken Partner (OMP). After evaluating the many application documents received, the jury members visited the ten best independent garages on site. They assessed the external and internal appearance of the businesses, marketing, customer approach and company and employee management.



"We were able to see for ourselves that all independent workshops are extremely qualified, do a good job and look after their customers very intensively," emphasized Edwin Puscher from Reinz and spokesman for the Original Marken Partner. The jury was particularly impressed by the personal customer care, the new workshop with its well-functioning operating processes and Simon Nowotni's professional service marketing. The result: first place in the German Workshop Award 2014.



"Our customers receive an all-round carefree package from us. As a competent partner, we are on hand to advise them on all automotive issues - when it comes to repairing their cars and buying their new vehicles," said Simon Nowotni at the award ceremony, thanking his employees.
