The agenda included keynotes, panel discussions and think tanks. There was also the presentation of the results of this year's Enterprise Mobility Study as well as the presentation of selected reference projects and the presentation of the Enterprise Mobility Awards. The event was accompanied by a mobility-focused exhibition.
Robert Gerhards, CEO of Centracon, presented "Strategy recommendations for the mobile working world of tomorrow". Dr. Carlo Velten, Managing Director at Crisp Research, spoke about the successful implementation of enterprise mobility concepts. How mobility requirements are changing enterprise IT was the topic of the keynote speech by Prof. Dr. Volker Gruhn, holder of the Chair of Software Engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Prof. Dr. Marco Gercke, Director of the Cybercrime Research Institute, examined current trends with regard to cyber security risks in the mobility sector in his presentation, while Prof. Dr. Manfred Broy, Institute of Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich, chose a completely different perspective by looking at intermodal mobility as a driver for an integrated, networked mobility concept.
In addition to the tried-and-tested format of the discussion panels - this year on the topics of "Branches 2.0 - our future is mobile", led by Dr. Carlo Velten, and "Mobile Security" by Prof. Dr. Marco Gercke - the think tanks gave visitors the opportunity to engage in open discussions in a closed room. Dr. Oliver Oswald, Partner at Mieschke Hofmann und Partner, led the discussion round on the topic of "Added value through mobile business processes", while Robert Gerhards led through the "Mobile Strategy & Business Transformation" think tank at the same time. On the second day, guests were able to debate "New business models through networked mobility" in Prof. Dr. Manfred Broy's think tank or join the discussion by Michael C. Reiserer, consultant to Apinauten, on "Enterprise Mobile Apps".
