The specialist medium MM MaschinenMarkt from Vogel Business Media, Würzburg, celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2014. On January 15, 2015, the anniversary year will end with a grand gala. The patron is the Federal Minister of Economics Sigmar Gabriel. The first guard of major industrial companies will be attending. Prof. Peter Bofinger, Professor of Economics at the University of Würzburg and a member of the German government's Council of Economic Experts, will give a keynote speech on the macroeconomic context for 2015 and the importance of specialist media for the industry. At this event, 12 "milestone companies" will also be honored as innovation leaders.



MM MaschinenMarkt is one of the largest trade magazines in the world with a print circulation of 6 million in 12 countries and the number 1 German trade title in the industry. With its 120th anniversary, MM MaschinenMarkt is also the oldest polytechnic trade journal from Europe's largest industrial media house.



The gala will be accompanied by three exhibitions:

- Germany helps: the good deeds of Vogel Industriemedien



These exhibitions are open to the public and can be visited on Friday, January 16 and Saturday, January 17, 2015.
