The cloud service model continues to be one of the driving topics and hosters and managed service providers are still in pole position in the race for customers. However, the dynamics and enormous business potential offer just as many opportunities as challenges: At the latest since industry giants such as Amazon and IBM have been pushing into Germany with cloud data centers, hosters and service providers appear to be coming under further pressure. The Hosting & Service Provider Summit, which will take place this year on May 21 and 22 at the Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt, will therefore focus on both technological and business-oriented aspects in order to discuss the opportunities and challenges of this future market.
The summit is aimed at the top managers of Internet service providers (ISPs), managed service providers (MSPs), telcos, data center operators and internal service providers of large companies and system houses who want to add "service providing" to their business model.
High-caliber keynotes, peer references, best practices, discussion panels, think tanks and intensive one-on-one discussions will provide participants with detailed information on the latest trends, technologies and business prospects in the market.
This year's event will conclude with the presentation of the "Hosting & Service Provider Award". The most innovative and successful hosting and service offerings will be honored in the following categories: Application Services, Infrastructure Services and Platform Services. The neutral jury's evaluation criteria are the concept, its implementation and the market opportunities of the offer. For the first time, the top three nominees in each category will present their solution to the participants and answer questions from the audience and the jury.
The Hosting & Service Provider Summit will take place on
May 21 and 22, 2015 in Frankfurt am Main
