Future hacker attacks will no longer be limited to IT end devices and (human) identities. The entire organization, including company-critical business and production processes, are exposed to the risk of data and control misuse. This is one of the main topics of the IT-SECURITY Management & Technology Conference 2015.
Boris Bärmichl (CEO, KoSiB eG - Competence Center for Security in Bavaria) will shed light on the new threats in his keynote speech "Industry 4.0 - Dangers 4.0". Where exactly are the dangers? And which security strategies counteract them?
In the second keynote speech, Daniel Domscheit-Berg (computer scientist, former WikiLeaks spokesperson & founder of OpenLeaks) will go one step further. With the "Big Picture of the Digital Revolution", he wants to get people thinking. What kind of change will it bring? What opportunities and risks does it entail? His presentation will end with an outlook on the changes of the coming years.
Wilfried Reiners (lawyer and partner, PRW Rechtsanwälte) will provide a different perspective. Are privacy and compliance really "old new burdens"? And is IT security "made in Germany" even possible? In his concluding keynote speech, he will illustrate his critical assessment with his practical experience.
Answers to these and other questions will be provided at the specialist congress, which is taking place for the 14th time. Visitors can expect an exhibition, workshops, roundtables and discussion forums as well as specialist presentations by leading IT security providers and experts.
The dates:
July 16 Frankfurt a.M. | Steigenberger Airport Hotel
July 18 Neuss | Dorint Kongresshotel
July 23 Munich | Sheraton Arabellapark
