Vogel Business Media, Würzburg, actively promotes workplace health. This includes a health day for all employees, which took place on 15 July 2015 and was organized by the works council and HR department.
Cooperation partners included AOK, the yoga center "Die Glücksbringer", the Hoffnung network and the Impuls rehabilitation and fitness center. Workshops on the topics of the happiness principle, brain food and dealing constructively with conflicts as well as exercise in everyday life were on the program alongside a yoga class, a taster massage and a course with intoxicating glasses. The company restaurant, run by BIG, also offered a special healthy buffet and green smoothies.
Employees were also able to register to donate stem cells at a stand run by the Netzwerk Hoffnung (Hope Network). The stem cell donor database of the University Hospital of Würzburg has set itself the task of accepting as many people as possible as potential stem cell donors.
Vogel Business Media takes a strategic view of the topic of health. "As a company, we like to support our employees so that they stay healthy," comments Günter Schürger, Managing Director of Vogel Business Media: "We have a wide range of offers.
