With the triumphant advance of smartphones, tablets, apps and the like, enterprise mobility has surfed out of the IT niche and onto the management agenda in just a few years. As an important competitive factor, enterprise mobility enables collaboration between employees, partners and customers. It is no longer about 'the one app', but about the comprehensive integration and mobilization of business processes.
Experts from the market will meet to discuss strategies and trends on this key topic at the "Enterprise Mobility Summit 2015". In addition to an accompanying exhibition, reference reports, best practices and think tanks on the automotive & logistics, health & public, production & industry, insurance & banking sectors, participants can look forward to top-class keynote speakers who will be inviting participants to discussion forums afterwards.
Prof. Wilhelm Bauer (Institute Director, Fraunhofer IAO) will present the mobility caused by people, spaces and technologies in his keynote "Working Smarter". Dr. Carlo Velten (Managing Director, Crisp Research) will show how mobility has developed out of the IT niche. Prof. Dr. Marco Gercke (Director, Cybercrime Research Institute) will shed light on the opportunities and risks of enterprise mobility in his presentation "Mobile Devices and Wearables". Dominik Blockberger (Key Account Manager, SCHIFFL) and Peter Selzer (Group Head of IT Operations, Oesterreichische Nationalbank) forecast a "time for change" and describe the mobile strategy for the Oesterreichische Nationalbank.
The event is aimed at board members, managing directors and top management representatives from user companies and public authorities who are responsible for the mobilization of business processes and the integration of the mobile workforce into the backend infrastructure, as well as IT service providers with solution expertise in the enterprise mobility environment.
Once again this year, the results of the "Enterprise Mobility Study 2015"(participation link) will be published and the "Enterprise Mobility Awards" (application at www.em-summit.de/award) will be presented.
