The online auction house Ebay wants to restructure its system for seller and customer ratings in the coming year. "The changes to the seller standards will go online in mid-February 2016," said Michael Möglich, Seller Director at Ebay Germany, today at the "mobile.de Weckruf!" trade conference in Würzburg. In future, commercial sellers will be classified more strongly on the basis of objective data. Negative feedback from a buyer alone will no longer necessarily lead to a poor seller rating, said Möglich. Measurable factors, such as the question of timely delivery, are to be increasingly included in the rating in future.
Michael Möglich explained in his presentation "Dropping your pants completely? How dealers deal with customer reviews on the Internet correctly", Michael Möglich explained how car dealers can actively use the potential of customer reviews for their business. Other providers also rely on user reviews: The online car marketplace mobile.de, for example, is currently introducing a system that prospective buyers and car buyers can use to rate car dealerships.
The "mobile.de wake-up call!" is the specialist event focusing on the opportunities and challenges in online car sales. At the specialist conference at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg, managers from car dealerships - from owners and managing directors to sales, marketing and online managers - met to find out about current trends and developments and to exchange ideas. The congress is organized by the two trade media "kfz-betrieb" and "Gebrauchtwagen Praxis" together with "mobile.de".
