With effect from January 1, 2016, the specialist media company Vogel Business Media in Würzburg is strengthening its activities in the market segment of bodywork and vehicle construction companies. To this end, the specialist medium "F+K Fahrzeug + Karosserie" is moving to the Vogel Automedien division. Until now, F+K, currently in its 68th year, has been published by Verlagsgemeinschaft Alfons W. Gentner Verlag, Stuttgart, and Bielefelder Verlag, Bielefeld. By streamlining their portfolios, both publishers intend to focus more strongly on their core competencies in future.



F+K is the market leader for bodywork and vehicle construction companies and the official organ of the ZKF Zentralverband Karosserie- und Fahrzeugtechnik e.V. in Friedberg.



Florian Fischer, Managing Director of Vogel Automedien, is delighted with the new addition: "F+K gives us access to the highly interesting target group of automotive businesses specializing in accident repair and vehicle construction. With our know-how, we will continue to cultivate the F+K brand and also develop customized cross-media offers for readers and advertising customers." Konrad Wenz will become editor-in-chief of F+K. He will take on this role in addition to his previous functions as head of the technology department at Vogel Automedien and as editor-in-chief of the new title "Kfz-Schadenmanager", which was published this year. In the future, Vogel Automedien will thus provide body and vehicle construction companies with all information relevant to their profession from a single source, enabling them to compete successfully.
