The balanced use of different materials is crucial for economical lightweight construction. But which combinations and placements in the vehicle are the most effective and economical? The fifth "Automobil Industrie Leichtbau-Gipfel", which will take place on March 14/15, 2016 at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg, will provide answers. The event is being organized by the trade journal "Automobil Industrie" and the Alzenau-based training expert "carhs". Under the motto "The right material in the right place", renowned speakers from industry and universities will facilitate the professional exchange of know-how.

In addition to presentations, participants at the Lightweight Construction Summit can look forward to a panel discussion and specialist sessions focusing on bodywork, components, materials, production, drive systems and interiors. The "Lightweight City" will showcase the latest concepts and ideas from the organizers. Universities and institutions will present development projects in the "Lightweight Campus". The "Meet & Talk" area enables personal discussions with the speakers following their presentations.
