The other finalists for 2016 were: VORORT Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH (Neustadt an der Saale), iWelt AG (Eibelstadt), WüKurier Goldberg GmbH & Co. KG (Kürnach) and Direktion für Bonnfinanz Klaus Günter KG (Kitzingen). An expert jury headed by Dr. Friedrich Assländer will determine the overall winner of the competition.
The "REGIONIS 2016" competition was held for the fourth time this year as a joint project of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in Lower Franconia, led by the WJ Würzburg, together with partners from business and science, the Würzburg-Schweinfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Chamber of Crafts (HWK) for Lower Franconia and the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) as well as the Handelsverband Bayern e.V. (Bavarian Trade Association). Five finalists emerged from all the applications, who were first visited by teams from the WJ and then had to face a jury of experts.

With 210 members and guests from the city and district of Würzburg and Kitzingen, the WJ Würzburg is the largest group of young entrepreneurs in Mainfranken and part of the WJD, the leading association of young German business with around 11,000 members. Young entrepreneurs up to the age of 40 can actively engage in voluntary work here.
