First insider portal on software development launches

New specialist portal "Dev-Insider" with comprehensive information on software development for IT decision-makers in companies

Applications are the building blocks of digital transformation. They bring new business models to life and are therefore the critical factors of all digitalization and Industry 4.0 projects. No wonder software developers are in demand like never before: there is hardly an industry that is not desperately looking for qualified developer resources.

In order to provide decision-makers in companies with dedicated information on all current facets of application development, such as apps, agile development and DevOps, Vogel IT-Medien is launching a new portal dedicated exclusively to these topics: Dev-Insider, the specialist developer portal for software development and operation.

"Software development is the perfect complement to our existing six Insider portals, which focus more on infrastructure and data management," says Werner Nieberle, Managing Director of Vogel IT-Medien.

Readers will learn everything they need to know in the cloud era in order to properly initiate, manage, test and operate software projects with high quality and reliability. Dev-Insider provides a practical mix of specialist articles from renowned experts, developers and IT journalists.

The editor-in-chief of Dev-Insider is Stephan Augsten, who has been working for the Vogel IT-Medien insider portals as an editor specializing in IT security since 2006 and previously worked as a software developer.

Dev-Insider launches on February 1, 2017 at www.dev-insider.de. Registration as a registered user with access to white papers and webinars is free of charge.

In its seminars, industry summits and congresses, the Vogel IT Academy (akademie.vogel-it.com) offers IT decision-makers and partners focused knowledge on a wide range of topics.
