"Hired!": Working atmosphere beats money

Career magazine for electronics professionals and graduates published - with independent salary report

The generational change has reached the electronics industry: in the evaluation of this year's survey on job satisfaction, the perennial favorite "performance-related pay" was replaced for the first time by "good working atmosphere" as the most important factor for job satisfaction. Another result: Bavaria slipped from first place to fourth place in the ranking of federal states where satisfaction with salary is highest. The new leader is Baden-Württemberg.

For the third time, the career magazine "Hired!" took a close look at the electronics industry and offers a wide range of articles and tips on the topics of work culture and job applications as well as detailed portraits of the most attractive employers in the electronics industry. Hired!" also shows which job profiles will offer the greatest career opportunities in the future and which skills tomorrow's specialists and managers will need. Ten rules of etiquette tell you what each individual can do to improve the working atmosphere.

When it comes to careers, the topic of salary should not be left out: That's why "Hired!" also contains the independent salary report for electronics and electrical engineering, which is published by the specialist medium "Elektronikpraxis" together with the career portal "semica". More than 6,000 data records were analyzed in close cooperation with the market research department of Vogel Business Media in order to provide electronics professionals with realistic figures for the next salary round and to inform young professionals about current salaries for the application phase.
