On the initiative of the works council and an employee of Vogel Business Media, discarded bicycles were collected throughout the company in recent weeks and handed over to those responsible at the Franz Oberthür School on April 6, 2017. The bicycles will all be made ready for use and roadworthy by the technology classes and then made available to the pupils, especially for transportation from the shared accommodation to school. However, the Franz Oberthür School is dependent on donations in kind.

"We are delighted with this helpful donation," emphasizes Ralf Geisler, a member of the school management team: "This project is also about creating prospects. The vocational integration students benefit in two ways: firstly from the practical experience of the lessons and secondly from the fact that they have their own means of transport and are more mobile."
