The English-language magazine was converted from print to a digital format as an open content hub with a responsive design. In addition, there is cross-media networking, including the extension of content to social media, the CATch up app and a monthly newsletter. Furthermore, Vogel Corporate Media produces and curates relevant content for the online magazine, which reflects PUMA's expert status.
CATch up is primarily aimed at all PUMA employees across all locations as an employer branding tool. This includes over 13,000 employees worldwide. Through public access to CATch up, the online magazine also appeals to potential PUMA customers who want to know more about PUMA as a brand and employer.
"The Astrid Award for Design Communications is one of the most prestigious awards in the industry and the well-deserved reward for the outstanding work that Vogel Corporate Media has done for us since the beginning of our cooperation. We are delighted with the award for our PUMA magazine. It spurs us on to continue on our chosen path of digital corporate communications," says Kerstin Neuber, Head of Corporate Communications at PUMA.
Every year, over 470 companies from 16 countries around the world compete for the award. "It is an enormous honor to achieve this high level of success, given the high level of competition from companies and design agencies from all over the world," says Tina Schäfer, Unit Director and member of the Executive Board of Vogel Corporate Media. "However, it also shows how important it is for companies to digitize their communication and invest in innovative concepts in order to remain successful on the market. Especially in times of an impending shortage of skilled workers, it is becoming increasingly important to break new ground in employer branding. After all, successful employer branding generates competitive advantages and positive effects in terms of employee recruitment, employee retention, corporate culture, performance and results as well as the corporate brand."
Since 1991, the ASTRID Award has been dedicated to the mission of promoting design as the fundamental basis for successful communication.
