The new "Food & Beverage" special issue of the specialist medium "Process" analyzes this important sector of the economy and is dedicated to the process engineering processes of industrial food production as well as the packaging and filling technology of food and beverages. Overarching topics such as energy-efficient production, industrial hygiene, quality assurance and business management issues are also covered.
The cover story of the current issue deals with safe food production, i.e. food that is safe for consumers. Although the majority of food manufacturers attach great importance to this, inspectors find hygiene deficiencies in a quarter of the inspections. Smaller companies are most frequently affected. The cover story examines the causes, such as the production processes, and also highlights the role of the human factor as a source of danger in production.
The special edition is aimed at specialists and managers in the food industry in production, process and process engineering as well as the equipment industries.
