This is precisely where the new "Production 4.1" user congress comes in, bringing users into dialogue with suppliers from the manufacturing and production industry and using specific practical examples to show the excellence solutions that Industry 4.0 already offers for optimizing production and maintenance.
In the three user forums on the topics of "Predictive Maintenance", "Plug & Produce" and "Security", the focus is on practical knowledge that can be implemented quickly as well as solution-oriented discussions. In addition, the accompanying expo will provide information on new products, deliver integrable solutions and products for everyday working life and show viable paths to smarter production.
One highlight is the joint keynote speech by Dr. Stefan Fischer (Head of Software Development) and Marvin Buder (Chief Product Owner) from Trumpf Werkzeugmaschinen, who will report on the digital transformation in their company and provide insights into their strategy on the path to Industry 4.0.
Participants will also be able to see the possibilities of digitalization for themselves: on the day before the congress, there will be a guided tour of the Siemens plant in Bad Neustadt, including the "Arena of Digitalization".
