New congress: "Females in IT - Future of IT"

Congress for women in the IT industry - presentation of the "Women of the Year Awards"

Digitization is also changing the demands on IT: more user-oriented, innovative, collaborative, holistic, integrative. So will we increasingly need characteristics that are attributed more to women in order to meet these requirements? What effect will these "female" characteristics have? Or are the differences between men and women not that great?

Around 100 female IT managers will receive answers to these and many other topics at the "FIT 2017 | Females in IT - Future of IT" conference on November 9, 2017 in Berlin. Experts will share their knowledge in top-class keynotes, including Jutta Gräfensteiner (Director Channel and Partner Management, Cisco), Diana Coso (CEO, Axians), Prof. Dr. Franz-Josef Radermacher (University of Ulm, Institute for Databases and Artificial Intelligence) and book author Rebekka Reinhard.

In the panel discussion "VIPs on the Spot", experienced top female managers will talk about the challenges of the IT working world and provide insights into their careers as well as valuable tips. The participants include Doris Albiez (Senior Vice President & General Manager, Dell EMC), Martina Koederitz (Chairwoman of the Management Board, IBM Germany), Vera Schneevoigt (Senior Vice President, FUJITSU) and Sabine Smentek (State Secretary for ICT, Berlin).

Direct contact and exchange will also be facilitated by individual networking areas and think tanks. One highlight is the evening gala with the presentation of the "Women of the Year Awards" to outstanding women in the IT industry.
