Another trend revealed by the BIX is even more dangerous: 48% of the car dealers surveyed reported that customers are postponing new purchases. This is also reflected in the new registration figures, which were down year-on-year in September.
There are good reasons to believe that the diesel crisis will pass and that this economical drive will continue to hold its own in the passenger car market in the future. For example, the new exhaust gas guidelines for clean engines, which provide for emissions to be measured on the road and set limits for pollutant emissions under real driving conditions.
