- Communications agency for the digital economy creates new C-level position

Berlin, October 17, 2017 - Berlin-based communications agency schoesslers is strengthening its management team with Tim Brandt as Chief Operating Officer (COO) from November 1. In this newly created position, he will support the company's expansion as one of the leading communications agencies in the digital economy. After a very successful financial year in 2016, schoesslers is continuing its strong growth trajectory this year.
Tim Brandt has many years of experience in the fields of journalism, communication and press relations. In addition to his work as a marketing and communications consultant, including for Mercedes Benz, Deutsche Telekom, Nokia and Hugo Boss, he was General Manager of Art Berlin Verlag, Editorial Director at AVE/Holtzbrinck Publishing Group, Head of Department at Tagesspiegel-Online and The European, and most recently Deputy Press Spokesman for the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Deputy Editorial Director of Berliner Wirtschaft magazine. As a consultant for new media at Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and through his three years as startup coordinator at the IHK, he also has a large network in the startup ecosystem.

This year, schoesslers was once again able to acquire numerous new clients, including GROUPON, Medallia, Mercury Media, ottonova, PANTAFLIX and tectumedia. The Vogel Business Media Group acquired 51 percent of the communications agency from Julia Schössler two years ago. As part of its growth, schoesslers moved into its new offices at Neue Grünstraße 17/18 on Spittelmarkt in Berlin-Mitte a few weeks ago.
