The specialist medium LABORPRAXIS from Vogel Business Media in Würzburg celebrated its 40th anniversary last year. To mark the occasion, the industry experts regularly presented "milestones in the industry" throughout the anniversary year: These exclusively comprise outstanding technological developments and entrepreneurial achievements in the fields of laboratory technology. The specialist medium published these - along with many other campaign elements - in the form of a "Milestones" series of articles. This series has now been collected and published as a compendium in LABORPRAXIS. The result is a comprehensive summary of both evolutionary and revolutionary industry innovations from many decades.

From chromatography and vacuum technology to laboratory safety: the specialist medium covered a total of 15 relevant topics in its series of articles. The editorial team selected highly innovative industry players and companies that have advanced laboratory technology in recent decades with their achievements on the market.

As part of the anniversary gala, LABORPRAXIS presented the "Milestone Awards" to 15 leading companies in November 2017. 250 guests from science, the supplier industry and user sectors came together at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg to exchange ideas, network and celebrate with the market-leading specialist medium.

The recently published compendium is the crowning glory of the milestone series and the anniversary year. All articles, interviews and infographics relating to the cutting-edge technological achievements from decades of technological progress are summarized in the special publication.
