Looking for the best automation apps

Apply now for the "automation app award 2018"

Mobile, desktop and hybrid apps as well as web applications, apps for wearables, multi-channel and IoT applications. The variety of automation apps knows no bounds. The trade journal "elektrotechnik AUTOMATISIERUNG" is on the lookout for the best automation apps. The focus is on the added value of the app, for example through simplified machine control, remote maintenance or service. The trade journal will present the "automation app award" at the "SPS IPC Drives" 2018 trade fair in Nuremberg on November 28. Interested parties can still submit their applications until October 26, 2018.

Any company from the automation industry and any developer agency that develops apps for the automation industry can apply with one or more apps. The app does not necessarily have to be freely available. It can also be an individual, company-owned app that is used to control machines and systems, for example.

A jury of five experts evaluates the submitted apps according to usability, security, relevance and utility value as well as the originality of the app idea. The user ratings in the respective stores are also taken into account.

Save the Date: The award ceremony will take place on November 28, 2018 in Nuremberg at SPS IPC Drives at the booth of "elektrotechnik AUTOMATI-SIERUNG", No. 160 in Hall 6.
