Vogel Communications Group (VCG) is taking over the two media brands "Plastverarbeiter" and "Kautschuk Gummi Kunststoffe" from Hüthig Medien GmbH on April 1, 2025. Both media brands will be integrated into WIN-Verlag, a wholly owned subsidiary of VCG, where they will strengthen the plastics sector. WIN-Verlag launched the "PlastXnow" media brand for this purpose in December 2024. With the purchase of the two titles, the Würzburg-based specialist information provider VCG is strengthening its expertise in the field of plastics and expanding WIN-Verlag's product portfolio around PlastXnow.
Matthias Bauer, CEO of VCG: "We want to become the No. 1 in the plastics market and are strategically strengthening our product portfolio in this market, which remains strong. Plastics play an important role in the industrial environment. Especially with regard to sustainability, there is a lot of development potential here that we will make accessible to our customer groups."
