Würzburg, 27.03.2025 - The entire industry and SMEs in particular continue to suffer from the consequences of the shortage of skilled workers. All forecasts show: no improvement in sight! According to current estimates by the employment agency in Würzburg, there is currently a need for around 20,000 skilled workers in Mainfranken. There are currently 9,300 vacancies for skilled workers registered there (Employment Agency as of November 2024). In order to address this key issue and work on topics for affected companies, a cooperation between the three partners Vogel Communications Group (VCG), Region Mainfranken GmbH and HR Netzwerk Mainfranken has been established in Mainfranken.
Bettina Gardenne, Managing Director of Region Mainfranken GmbH: "The cooperation with the Vogel Communications Group and the HR Network Mainfranken creates valuable synergies and brings together stakeholders to exchange information on HR-related topics. Our aim is to provide concrete support to companies in the region through practical formats and networking opportunities - especially in dealing with the shortage of skilled workers and the further development of modern working environments."
Matthias Bauer, CEO of VCG, is delighted about the cooperation: "I am convinced that HR teams in SMEs play a central role in all transformation processes. As a group of companies headquartered in Würzburg and in particular with HRtbeat as an expert HR agency and Vogel subsidiary, we know exactly what challenges medium-sized companies face on a daily basis. By cooperating with the Mainfranken region and the HR Network Mainfranken, we are responding to the needs of companies and want to jointly identify solutions."
