North Rhine-Westphalia is the most populous, economically strongest and most densely populated state in Germany. The state offers a broad, efficient infrastructure with very interesting user industries and scenarios for the use of cobots. This is why "Cobots4You - Conference, Trade Fair and Networking Event" is taking place in NRW for the first time and aims to make the growth market "Future Technology Cobots" a multi-sensory and haptic experience for interested visitors and users.

Universities, chambers of industry and commerce and chambers of trade will also be represented. Keynote speaker is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Daniel Schilberg. Head of the Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics at Bochum University of Applied Sciences with the topic "Cobots for the vernacular trade".
NRW Minister of Economic Affairs is the patron
"As the patron of Cobots4You, I am delighted to welcome the robotics community to Bochum. Cobots are welcome in North Rhine-Westphalia, because as an industrial location in the heart of Europe, we are aware of the importance of human-robot collaboration and its potential to revolutionize industrial automation," explains Mona Neubaur, Minister of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia: "We are specifically promoting technologies with great potential such as AI, machine learning and robotics in order to expand their use to as many fields of application as possible. Cobots4you in Bochum offers an excellent opportunity to network with top players from research and industry and to push the boundaries of what is possible with human creativity and technological innovations."
All about the new helpers: types, prices, applications, manufacturers
Many innovative minds in the robotics industry are working to ensure that the use of cobots is no longer reserved for experts alone. To this end, the morning conference program will present topics such as cost-effectiveness, programming, flexibility, mobility, safety and integration. There will also be application examples and specific tips for introducing cobots in your own company. The afternoon is reserved for a visit to the trade fair with hands-on experience: The exhibitors, in particular robotics manufacturers and experts, will vividly demonstrate the possible applications. "We are convinced that the use of cobots not only relieves the burden on employees and conserves valuable specialist resources, but also makes a valuable contribution to productivity. Thanks to artificial intelligence, digital tools and rapidly growing computing power, cobots can now be set up easily, controlled intuitively and used flexibly," explains Bernd Weinig, Director Trade Fair Solutions Vogel Communications Group: "Cobots could be the game changer, because the advances in AI, sensor technology and falling investment costs are huge."
