Three media companies launch mobility newsletter
Stuttgart/Würzburg, March 4, 2026 – When three of the most prominent media companies in the mobility universe join forces, you know something big is happening: Motor Presse Stuttgart, ETM Verlag, and Vogel Communications Group, Würzburg, are launching "Big Bang Moovement," a new B2B newsletter for people who deal with cars and mobility professionally – and can't get away from it in their private lives anyway. The newsletter is free and appears twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It already has around 120,000 subscribers at launch.
- auto motor und sport, kfz-betrieb, and 18 other media brands: a new B2B newsletter from Motor Presse Stuttgart, ETM Verlag, and Vogel Communications Group
- Starting March 4, Wednesdays and Saturdays, with 120,000 subscribers
- Europe's largest mobility editorial network
What is starting today as a strategic cooperation between three strong companies would have been almost inconceivable just a few years ago. This makes "Big Bang Moovement" all the more significant as a sign of an industry that is moving closer together, forging new alliances, and shaping the future together. The media companies—and their brands—have been accompanying mobility since its beginnings, almost since the big bang of automotive history. Their media outlets, such as "Der Automarkt," the predecessor of kfz-betrieb, were founded in 1911. "Das Auto," with the subtitle "Trucks – Motorcycles – Sports," has been around since the 1940s, when mobility became industrialized, emotionalized, and later digitized. Now they are joining forces for the next phase.
Big Bang Moovement is clearly positioned as a B2B product, but deliberately allows itself the occasional B2C side glance. After all, anyone working in the automotive or mobility sector is not only interested in sales forecasts and supply chains, but also in design, emotion, technology, and people.
Or, as editor-in-chief Jochen Kalka puts it : "Everyone who works professionally in the large mobility market is enthusiastic about cars. That's why we don't just write about specialist topics such as the supplier industry, fleet management, logistics, tech & AI, car dealerships, finance, energy, and defense, but also about unusual topics and extraordinary people—for example, celebrities and their cars or health."
Kalka is responsible for the newsletter as editor-in-chief. He is also managing director of the schoesslers agency. He is supported by a top-class editorial team:
- Birgit Priemer, Editor-in-Chief of Auto Motor und Sport
- Stefan Cerchez, Editor-in-Chief of Corporate Content at Motor Presse Stuttgart
- Kerstin Pradel, head of schoesslers' Würzburg office, previously worked for AvD, among others
The editorial clout behind "Big Bang Moovement" is considerable: The content is sourced from Europe's largest automotive editorial network, supported by Motor Presse Stuttgart's titles auto motor und sport, AUTOStrassenverkehr, MOTORRAD, sport auto, Motor Klassik, and promobil, supplemented by the expertise of ETM Verlag (including eurotransport.de, trans aktuell, firmenauto, Fernfahrer, Werkstatt aktuell) and the Vogel Communications Group.
With kfz-betrieb as the leading medium in the automotive industry and strong brands such as auto Fachmann/Kaufmann, Fahrzeug+Karosserie, Gebrauchtwagen Praxis, Automobil Industrie, and next mobility, the Vogel Communications Group stands for journalistic excellence in the B2B automotive sector. The B2B community in particular has traditionally always been at the forefront when it comes to transformation, innovation, and new business models—from retail to workshops to industry.
Big Bang Moovement therefore sees itself as a platform for decision-makers who move markets—and want to keep moving themselves. True to the motto: Where decision-makers set the future in motion.
The Berlin agency dreissig24 is responsible for the layout concept and visual implementation.
The result: "A newsletter that informs, classifies, and inspires industry decision-makers—and never forgets why most of them ended up in this industry in the first place: out of passion," says Birgit Priemer, editor-in-chief of auto motor und sport. With "Big Bang Moovement," three media companies are combining their reach, expertise, and networks to create a new, powerful information format for the mobility community. Or, to put it a little less soberly: here comes movement in your inbox.
