Würzburg/Germany, 16 October 2007
The winner of Germany’s 2007 „Motorcycle Dealer of the Year“ award has now been announced: Team Voiges (Yamaha), based in Uetze near Hanover, received the coveted trophy at the »Bike & Business« trade fair’s retailers‘ evening last Friday. 170 representatives from industry, trade and associations were present at the ceremony. This was the third time that the editorial team from »bike und business«, Germany’s specialist magazine for the motorcycle business sector, had staged the competition, supported by the online marketplace, Mobile.de, and the financial service-provider, Santander Consumer Bank. A jury made up of some of the sector’s top names chose Germany’s ten best dealers in the motorcycle, scooter, quad/ATV and trike sector out of the 132 businesses which entered the competition.
To enter the competition – which is open to all businesses regardless of brand names and makes of motorcycle – the dealers had to complete a neutral questionnaire and provide the related documents. Ultimately, a visit was made to the ten best dealers before the final decision was made as to the ranking order.
