Products, solutions, materials, processes: At a festive gala event on 18.02.2016 at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg, the trade magazine “MM Maschinenmarkt” honoured the best of the best. For the new top-ranking businesses award – “Best of Industry”, only those companies were qualified that were already on the shortlist of an industry award once with a product or a solution or those that had received the award, i.e., already been awarded. Almost 200 visitors from the German industry attended the award ceremony for industry excellence.



“So the Best-Of-Industry award has become a distinction for the entire company. Irrespective of who receives the certificates and trophies later – whether a Development Engineer, a Communications Expert, a Sales person or the Head personally, every company that is represented here has brought together product and market perspective”, emphasises Hans-Jürgen Kuntze, Publisher “MM Maschinenmarkt”.



A total of 34 nominees in ten categories were identified in an elaborate selection procedure from early 2014 to mid 2015. A jury consisting of MM editors and industry experts along with several readers of “MM Maschinenmarkt” then chose the winner of the particular category. Almost 10,000 votes were cast in the online poll.
