Culture
We are a value-oriented group of companies with a responsible, future-oriented and sustainable culture. Open, direct communication plays just as central a role for us as partnership-based feedback and social commitment.
We take responsibility.
Vogel Communications Group takes its social responsibility very seriously. The company has a long tradition of civic engagement in its 125-year history. Two foundations, a relief fund for employees and many of the company's sponsoring activities are proof of this.
Diversity is important to us.
We are convinced that diversity in companies strengthens innovation and creativity. We value and promote diversity of thought, perspectives, experiences, lifestyles and skills within our group of companies.
We are dialog-oriented.
Direct, open communication and a strong feedback culture are important to us. We firmly believe that we can learn from each other decisively through a personal and cooperative exchange and continue to develop with the best solutions.
Our commitment to sustainability.
For us, sustainability has always been an integral part of our daily work. We are convinced that we can develop the best solutions for a sustainable future through an open exchange and joint commitment. You can find out more about our measures here.
Our stance on the war in Ukraine
We are dismayed by the armed conflict in Ukraine. We stand in solidarity with the people in the embattled regions and the countless people seeking protection. We believe in the democratic, liberal values of Europe, in the peaceful coexistence of countries and in freedom of the press and freedom of opinion.
As a communications company, we believe in the power of dialog, knowledge-based communication, research and international economic and solution-oriented cooperation.
We donate as a company and make use of our journalistic opportunities.

Corporate Social Responsibility
We are involved in numerous CSR projects both regionally and nationally. We focus on promoting the industry and young talent as well as knowledge transfer.
Reading Foundation
It starts with reading: Reading is the central prerequisite for education, professional success, integration and self-determined participation in life. For over 30 years, Stiftung Lesen has stood for the successful promotion of reading. We are convinced that reading is a digitalization skill and therefore the key to the sustainable development of our society.
Initiative Junge Forscherinnen und Forscher e. V. (IJF)
The IJF makes future technologies tangible for children and young people. In this way, the next generation can discover their enthusiasm for it today and lead the way as the experts of tomorrow. STEM subjects are growing, especially in industry and IT. By promoting young talent, we also want to counteract the shortage of skilled workers in our markets.
Commitment to quality journalism
We are committed to high-quality specialist journalism that provides a contemporary, excellent and fact-based basis for professional decisions by readers. With our Karl Theodor Vogel Foundation, we established the "Trade Journalist of the Year" award and have presented it together with the German Trade Press Association since 2005. We will continue to support the economy with high-quality, useful quality journalism and make it more successful with specialist information.
