Fit for the digital transformation?

Learn, apply, experience: new training program for prospective Chief Digital Officers

Fit for the digital transformation?

Digitalization is already having a significant impact on many people's working and living environments. Digitization offers companies the opportunity to further develop existing business models and thus position themselves for a successful future. While the major market players are generally already implementing this, small and medium-sized companies in particular are lagging behind in their digital development. This is not least due to personnel: experts for digital transformation are rare on the job market and often expensive.

To change this, Munich Business School (MBS), the specialist medium "Next Industry", the Matchlab innovation laboratory and the Innovationswerkstatt are launching a strategic alliance in the field of professional training and further education in the specialist area of digitalization and innovation. With a specially compiled program, participants acquire comprehensive digital skills, learn innovative management methods and prepare for the role of Chief Digital Officer (CDO) in 12 weeks and six modules.

The CDO programme enables participants to identify and exploit the opportunities of digitalization for their respective companies. In addition, the prospective CDOs can experience live on site how the digital pioneers in Silicon Valley work and get to know leading institutions such as Google or Stanford. In the course of the program, they also develop a specific individual roadmap to lead their company into the digital future.

"With the development of the CDO program, we are paying tribute to the volatile, digital world," says Harald Ostermann, Managing Director of Innovationswerkstatt. Nathalie von Seyfried, Chancellor of Munich Business School, adds: "The CDO program gives companies the skills and resources they need for digital transformation."

As a sparring partner for the industry, the specialist medium "Next Industry" aims to guide companies into the world of tomorrow and make them capable of taking action. This is why all participants in the CDO program also receive numerous free services from "Next Industry", including an annual subscription and free participation in numerous events.

The CDO program starts in September 2019. Further information and registration can be found here.

"Next Industry " - The compendium for digital transformation, founded in 2017, aims to be a sparring partner for the industry and guide its readers into the world of tomorrow with the ability to act. MBS has been one of the best business schools in Germany for years and consistently achieves top positions in all relevant rankings. Internationality, practical relevance and a strong network are central components of the Bachelor's, Master's and MBA programs as well as the Doctor of Business Administration program. In addition, MBS offers flexible and tailor-made executive education programs for companies.
