The trade journal Elektronikpraxis, Germany's highest-circulation trade magazine for professional electronics developers, is further expanding its online multimedia offering. With issue 4 of the magazine, the editorial team is offering developers a version of the magazine enriched with rich media content as an app for iPhone and iPad as well as for the PC. Among other things, readers will find numerous up-to-date video interviews with experts who comment on current topics.
The app version of Elektronikpraxis is currently only available under this brand name for Apple devices via the official Apple App Store. Readers can find the rich media ePaper for the PC in the editorial team's media library at www.elektronikpraxis.de/mediathek.
The Elektronikpraxis media library, which was introduced at the end of last year, bundles all of the editorial team's multimedia content. It includes short video clips on current interviews, reports, tips and interesting facts, as well as a video academy with instructional videos, all ePapers and picture galleries.
Johann Wiesböck, publisher of Elektronikpraxis, explains the expansion of the rich media offering: "The usage time of video content on the Internet is growing rapidly. For us as an electronics trade journal, the moving image is an excellent addition to our classic text content. The complex topics of electronics development in particular can be conveyed to our readers excellently and efficiently using video".
Issue 4 of Elektronikpraxis is the first official rich media edition of the trade journal. More are to follow this year. The PC ePaper of issue 4 can also be accessed directly at: http://tinyurl.com/6dsbddx
