"AutomotiveCOM Wolfsburg 2011" is the new symposium for IT in the automotive industry. It is characterized by a very special concept: The conference agenda consists of topics defined in advance by the participants. These relate to the challenges and approaches of IT managers in the automotive industry, both on the OEM side and at suppliers, design service providers and solution providers.
Best-practice examples will be used to illustrate the potential and limitations of solution approaches and development trends. To this end, the organizer is inviting IT experts from the automotive sector to place their topics on the event agenda. The focal points are divided into the following areas:
- IT infrastructure - IT security & high availability
- servers
- storage
- networks
- Managed Infrastructure Services
- Collaboration & Communication
- Web and video conferencing
- Project room security
- Secure mail and data transfer/product data management
"We are looking for topics and speakers who can show participants examples of how they can bring IT security, high availability and collaboration under the umbrella of OEM requirements (keywords ISSO, Shanghai) and implement them," explains Daniela Schilling, Academy Director.
IT experts working in or for the automotive sector are invited to submit their topics and speakers for a speaking slot at "AutomotiveCOM - Wolfsburg 2011" as part of the "Call for Speakers" until May 23, 2011.
