Street photography is an exciting photographic genre that explores the perception of the everyday and our viewing habits, which are largely determined by the images conveyed to us by the media.
In his lecture, Wolfgang Zurborn will provide an insight into the variety of subjective interpretations of everyday life that find their expression in street photography. He will show how perspectives have developed based on the respective artistic, journalistic or documentary point of view of the photographers, thus opening up the entire spectrum of street photography in his lecture.
He will be showing and discussing works by Walker Evans, Cartier-Bresson, Robert Frank, Lee Friedlander, Alex Webb and Martin Parr, among others. Zurborn will also be presenting his latest work "Catch".
The guest lecture "Street Photography" will take place on:
28.10.2016, at 19:00 at the Vogel Convention Center Würzburg
