"Motorcycle dealer of the year" 2018

Witten und Weber from Bad Berleburg wins the prestigious "bike und business" award

The finale at the Dealer Gala on November 29, 2018 in the festively decorated Shedhalle of the Vogel Convention Center Würzburg could not have been more exciting. Shortly before half past ten in front of around 300 guests from trade, industry, associations and the media, the "Motorcycle Dealer of the Year" 2018 was announced: Witten und Weber from Bad Berleburg won the trophy, a work of art made from old motorcycle parts. Motorrad Witzel from Sennfeld near Schweinfurt won second place. Herold from Nuremberg came third. The BMW Motorcycle Center Stuttgart was awarded the "Business Excellence" sales award and Moto-Bike-Cottbus took the title of "Used Professional of the Year" 2018.

Gärtners' Motorradshop in Dohna near Dresden and Moto-Technik Schmaus in Simmern were awarded the "Top Five" seal of approval. Muschik + Kautz in Arnsberg, MK Cycle Shop in Esslingen, CM Motorcycles in Bergheim and Schlickel in Oldenburg made it into the "Top Ten".

The editors of "bike und business" announced the award for the 14th time - with the support of the online marketplace Mobile.de, the financial services provider Santander Consumer Bank, the warranty insurer Car Garantie Bike and the lubricant specialist Motul. A high-caliber jury selected the eleven best dealers from the motorcycle, scooter, quad/ATV and trike sectors and independent workshops from 30 participating companies.

"bike und business" is a trade magazine for the motorized two-wheeler industry in the entire German-speaking region. The business magazine with a training section and interactive digital community provides information for the motorcycle trade and service, manufacturers/importers, the accessories industry and associations. "bike und business" is the official organ of the Bundesinnungsverband Zweirad-Handwerk (BIV) and publishes the technical bulletins that companies need for the statutory motorcycle emissions test (AUK).
