The three most creative and successful car dealerships in Germany, which stand for exemplary, customer-friendly and future-oriented retail concepts in the automobile business, received the 2007 Sales Awards last weekend. kfz-betrieb" and "Gebrauchtwagenpraxis" magazines and their partners Santander Consumer Bank and CarGarantie selected the winners of the "Sales Award 2007" at the AMI/AMITEC in Leipzig last Saturday.
The fifth presentation of the Sales Award, which was attended by around 150 guests from the industry, associations and dealers, was one of the trade fair highlights. The winners of the award provide answers to two crucial questions: How does the contemporary sale of new and used cars work in the automotive industry, which is undergoing major structural change? Who are the trendsetters in the market?
The winners include the contract partners of several automobile brands. The companies come from different regions of Germany. From a field of around 250 applicants, three top companies and their sales concepts won the "Industry Oscar":
1st place: Robert Kunzmann GmbH & Co. KG, Aschaffenburg
(Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge)
2nd place: Autohaus Mothor GmbH Skoda authorized dealer, Brandenburg
(Skoda, Mitsubishi, VW)
3rd place: Autohaus Günter Grassow GmbH & Co.KG, Lüssow/Strahlsund
(Mazda, Subaru, Suzuki, Chevrolet)
4th place: Autohandelsgesellschaft mbH Georg Rittersbacher, Kaiserslautern
(VW, Audi, Kia, Porsche)
5th place: Auto Staiger Leipzig GmbH, Leipzig (Opel, Chevrolet, Saab)
6th place: Ford besico Sachsenland GmbH, Glauchau (Ford)
7th place: Autohaus Chemnitz GmbH, Chemnitz (Toyota/Lexus)
8th place: Hackerott GmbH & Co. Handels und Service KG, Hanover
(Seat, Skoda)
9th place: Autoschmitt Idstein GmbH, Idstein (VW, Audi)
10th place: Auto-Center-Lange GmbH, Ludwigsfelde (Honda)
The criteria for selecting the top ten dealerships included the quality of the vehicle presentation, the commitment of the sales staff, marketing ideas for new and used cars and the interfaces to the service business.
