Würzburg, June 26, 2007
300 advertising and marketing experts attended this year's Würzburg Advertising Talks on Monday, June 25 and Tuesday, June 26. The specialist congress took place for the 45th time, for the second time in the ultra-modern Vogel Convention Center of the organizer, Vogel Business Media.
Under the motto "New markets. New paths. New goals", 11 experts from marketing, PR and advertising gave presentations. All speakers focused on the permanent change in communication and the associated changing challenges for marketing and PR.
After welcoming the guests and opening the congress by Claus Wüstenhagen, CEO Vogel Business Media, Fritz Schneider, CEO Publicis (Erlangen), spoke about "Fields of Communication". In his presentation, he emphasized how important it is to keep communication as simple as possible. Ronald Focken, Managing Director of Serviceplan, spoke about "Communication strategies at the turning point". Based on the current changes in the media, he discussed trends and the associated consequences for brand management.
The highlight of the first day of the congress was the presentation "Business lateral thinking: Innovation is the courage to be different" by Anja Förster, book author and managing director of the Laboratory for Business Lateral Thinking (Heidelberg). She presented the audience with numerous innovative ideas and motivated them to think differently about familiar topics. The harmony between her presentation and speaking technique inspired the audience.
Bernd M. Michael, who draws on many years of management experience at the Grey Global Group, spoke on the topic of "The brand as a value creator in the B2B market". In his presentation, which was the highlight of the second day of the Würzburger WerbeFachgespräche, he showed how the building blocks of successful brand management work.
The other speakers rounded off the extensive range of topics; the detailed program can be found at www.wwf07.de.
