The motorcycle dealer of the year 2015 has been decided: G. Wilhelmsen Motorradtechnik from Oeversee (Schleswig-Holstein) received this industry award on Thursday evening. The team led by owner Gerhard and his son Thore Wilhelmsen and authorized signatory Fritz Doser received the coveted trophy at the dealer evening of the 6th "bike und business" trade conference in Würzburg. 300 representatives from industry, trade and associations joined in the celebrations.



This was the eleventh time that the editors of the trade journal "bike und business" had awarded the prize - with the support of the online marketplace Mobile.de, the financial services provider Santander Consumer Bank, the warranty insurer Bike Garantie by CarGarantie and the lubricant specialist Motul. A high-caliber jury selected the ten best dealers from the motorcycle, scooter, quad/ATV and trike sectors from 132 participating companies. The "Abroad" and "Independent workshops" categories were left vacant this year.

After the final is before the final - according to this motto, the award organizers have introduced an innovation this year. The application phase for the "Motorcycle Dealer of the Year 2016" award begins immediately and runs until the end of March. The award ceremony will then traditionally take place at the 7th "bike und business" trade conference, which will be held on November 24, 2016.
